Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This policy explains what information UniqueStay collects, why, and what choices you have.
Working draft. This page describes how the platform operates today and is pending final review. It is not yet a binding legal document.
Who we are
UniqueStay (“we”) operates the website at uniquestay.in. The operator of record is [legal entity name — pending configuration], at [registered address — pending configuration].
Information we collect
When you create an account
Name, email address, and (optionally) phone number and nationality. Accounts and authentication are handled by Supabase.
When you submit a booking request
The guest name, email and phone you enter, plus the property, dates, rooms and the number of adults, children and infants. This is shared with the host of that property so they can confirm your stay.
Automatically
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security, rate-limiting and debugging. If site analytics are enabled, aggregate usage events (for example “property viewed”, “booking request submitted”) may also be recorded; these are not used to identify you individually.
What we do not do
- We do not process card or bank payments on this site.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Service providers
We share data with a small number of processors strictly to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudinary (image hosting), and Resend (sending booking and account emails). Hosting is provided by Vercel.
Retention
Account and booking-request records are kept for as long as your account is active and for [retention period — pending decision] afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information. Contact us via the contact page. Grievances may be addressed to our grievance officer, [grievance officer — pending configuration], at the same address.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date above.
